This Is Rock ‘n’ Roll Radio # 945
This coming Saturday, October 20th, two long-time TIRnRR Fave Raves will be joining forces for a good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll road show in Rochester. The Fave Raves in question are The Grip Weeds and Ray Paul, and the show commences at 8 pm at Lovin’ Cup, 300 Park Point Drive. POWER POP! We opened this week’s exercise in whatever the hell it is we do with bracin’ ‘n’ invigmoratin’ shots of Ray Paul and The Grip Weeds, and set about our work. That work included new music from Vegas With Randolph, my annual rant about The Monkees being snubbed again by the verdammt Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and our usual assortment of irresistible rockin’ pop gems from yesterday, today, and the week after next. Turn the music up, hold hands, and dance away whatever sadness crosses our path. This is what rock ‘n’ roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.
This Is Rock ‘n’ Roll Radio with Dana & Carl, Sunday nights from 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse on The Spark WSPJ-LP 103.3 and 93.7 FM, and on the web at http://sparksyracuse.org/
